A family firm
A W 50 truck was the first vehicle with which Anneliese and Eckart Balmer started their company in June 1988 in Holthusen, near the region’s capital city of Schwerin.
Son Heiko, son-in-law Enrico, daughter-in-law Diana and daughter Angela soon joined the haulage team.
Specialists since 1988
One of the company’s first major customers was the Klement-Gottwald-Werk in Schwerin. KGW required large cranes and marine equipment to be transported. Since that time we have specialised in the movement of special and heavy loads.
In 1992 we carried our first wind power plants to their installation site. From that time we have transported more than 800 of these plants.
Europe-wide transport
In the beginning, we moved goods for customers in Germany – today customers from all over Europe choose to use us. We currently employ a 27-strong staff to provide these professional services. Each member of staff is a specialist in his or her own field.
Our vehicle fleet includes:
- small vans
- escort vehicles
- mobile cranes
- heavy load transporters
- special vehicles
Certified quality
We have been carrying out regular comprehensive quality control checks since 2000. Our company holds the following certificates:
DIN ISO 9001 – Quality audit for management and the
SCC – Safety certificate,
as we place great emphasis on the quality of our services and health and safety at work.
